13.1 w/ 1.9 60ft time on spray. My bottle heater wasn't working (ground had worked its way loose). PSI was in the area of 850-900PSI.

It was my first time at the track...ever...I'll be the first to admit that watching a few axles break I was taking it fairly easy.

I'll second that. I was being a little b*tch by not letting enough air out of my DRs.

Awww man, you would post the run where the celica beat me. lol

But then again, you also posted the second run where I got him.

But dang, that celica was stripped down and can haul a**when it needs too. And for those of you wondering, that wasn't me making all the noise in the video. lol

I learned a lot from this day, most importantly that I need to:

1. Learn how to drive (duh) (however, I am proud to say I didn't miss a shift all day, woohoo!)
2. Learn how to burnout a little better to clean off my tires

At the end of the day I was looking at my tires and thought that I I had melted them or something? Then I realized that it was all the gook from the track that was clogging up the tread. I started picking at it and took some off and was like? "OOOoooh, so that's what they mean by cleaning off the tires."

Too bad I learned this at the end of the day.

Hey man you did good. Your Z with only pop charger was as fast and faster than many Z's with i/h/e/plenum spacers. id say your driving is fine its the launch you have to hit.

I don't just have a pop charger. I have the plenum spacer, y-pipe and ECU flash also.

I'm just glad I got into the 13's even if it was by .004 seconds. lol

I just got dynoed at AAM yesterday. 242hp and 226trq. I think I could have actually made 13's more if I shifted right. I was looking at the chart and after I confessed to Noah (he's cool btw, actually all of them are) that I didn't know what it meant exactly (I'm new remember, look at my post count!) he gave me a run down.

Pretty much I should have been shifting at 6200rpm, where I was shifting at around 6900 all day.

I guess I have to get some type of piggyback system to tune the car too. Noah was telling me that around 2800rpm to 4200rpm my car starts to run lean, but then after that it pulls a steady 13 a/f ratio.

I guess I'll have to post it up for you guys to see what I'm talking about on the chart. But that means I'll have to attach my scanner again.(just re-installed windows, hard drive died)

Noah is WRONG is he told you to shift at your hp peak. You should shift at redline for best acceleration in our Z's. You need to shift after 6200rpm peak so when you do shift you will land in better powerband for the next gear.

Yeah...post the chart, I'd like to take a look at it. You still have a slight bottleneck at the stock exhaust. And if you add test pipes you'll add some torque to the 226.

Alright, here it is. I was actually thinking of getting the test pipes in a month or so. But after reading some experiences I'd like to see how loud the raspy sound is people keep talking about.

A/F looks nice, Noah was wrong again your car isnt lean in the 2800-4200rpm range its a little rich but looks good. Once you add test-pipes your midrange will lean out a little. BTW if you want the gains of test-pipes but not the raspiness buy some Resonated test-pipes.

Edit-what AAM ECU flash do you have? Custom tuned or basic map? And what mods did you have on when you did it? You should shift 1-2 @ 7000rpm's and shift at stock redline every gear after that...

OOoook. Hopefully Noah never reads this thread. lol

They just gave me a basic map I guess. I went in there and got the plenum spacer and y-pipe put on at the same time they did the ECU flash.

I guess resonated test pipes are going to be my next upgrade.

Thanks for all the help guys.
