It was a combination of a slight redlight on my part and the MR2 driver sleeping at the light. I'm told that the tree at MIR is different then the tree at Capitol, which would explain me redlighting all damn day.

Well Im sure theres not alot of 1/4 mile drivers here either. Simply take your weight, gearing and horsepower and calculate a time you should be running and you are right there. Nothing amazing about it. Bert your a decent driver no doubt and im not taking anything away from you, but your right were you should be.

Actually IMO Im .1-.2 away from where I should be but that will come later. There are less than 5 turbo Z's faster than me down the 1/4 within the Z online community, all TT's with 430+whp. Many people drag their Z's we have some good drivers on these boards, unfortunately its all too common to see TT's pushing 400+whp and not coming anywhere near 11's-even with DR's.

So what every happened with your situation are you getting a new car or what? Going with JWT twins I hear Id like to see you out at a track day in a few months.

What times do you run? Are you right where you should be? "Not trying to be an ***."

Wanted to add because I dont know what your drag racing experience is like. Those calculators are junk imo, Ive typed my exact info in to many and the #'s are way off. Many people may think its easy to run good times I always hear "all you need is slicks or DR's" truth be told thats not the case for all. Like I said above Id like to see you out at a track day, lets see what kind of times you can pull

Not certain about the Christmas tree at Capital, but the tree that day was a standard 0.50 second sportsman's tree. The only other choice (BamBam and I spoke to the staff in the tower) was a Pro Tree. Probably not a good choice for first time racers.

David-you know what threw me off, was the timeslip printouts. Usually they display a perfect light on a sportmans tree as .500, anythin under being a redlight. But a .500 in thier printouts would have been a .000 anything negative was a redlight. Thats why many guys including myself for a while at first were reading them like
