Very cool. I'd drink it carefully...I hear the new stuff can give you a nasty headache.

It is only a small bottle (enough for me). I will let you know how it tastes LOL

had some in Prague before. way we did it there was:
1) pour some in a small glass (shot glass or thereabouts)
2) get a tablespoon of sugar and pour a little absinth on it
3) light the sugar and let it burn 'til it starts to carmelize
4) stir into the small glass and shoot
but yeh, strong stuff

get some wormwood online and mix it with the absinth for the true way of drinking. its like black liqourish i got some too you really dont freak out on it at all without a high content of wormwood

I imported it from a friend of mine in Germany.
HAHAHA.....good luck with it!! I had my hands on a few bottles when i was in Rome and Spain but knowing that i could have a damn **** test discourage me. Go ahead MR. HM and let the rest of us know how it is.

A buddy of mine and I went on a little kick with this stuff over the winter (phucking pricey winter boredom killer). The cooked sugar cube thing is the way to drink it, no question, but we did it a little different than stated above. We poured a shot or so in a glass and put a little on the cube, cooked the cube until it started caramelizing, all just like suprpwr said, but instead of just stirring it in, we dripped cold water over it to douse it and dissolve it and drip it into the glass. Then we stirred it up and drank. Cool to see the reaction with the sugar when you drip it in, and after you stir it, it is all cloudy, but this is how it is supposed to be. It helps to have an absinthe spoon for all that though.
Heh, it's got a unique, strong taste to it. If you don't like it with sugar (and a very little bit of water), we tried a few mixes out with it too, it actually works out OK mixed with Dr. Pepper.

I've always wondered if it will make you pop on a **** test...
I thought it was pretty good stuff though. I had some of it this past New Years.
