Exclamation Need some help guys...

Alright so over the past two days myself and Nowell have been wrenching on my Eclipse to change out the rear main seal. In the process we mushroom'd one of my axles and broke my speed sensor... but that ain't ****. Today as I'ma bout to put the tranny back in one of my boys at the shop notices a quarter-sized hole inside the bell housing. We also find some teeth laying around in what was originally thought to be a puddle of oil (actually Pennzoil Synchromesh). My rear main seal was fine. I was never leaking oil... I was leaking gear lube. So that's my problem. What I'm asking from you guys is to see if you (or anyone you know) knows about any local FWD turbo DSM trannies for sale. Oh, if you hear of any passenger side turbo DSM axles or DSM speed sensors, please let me know. Thanks for any help.

I assume that you speak with Sly and his DSM counterparts, but they would be a good place to go...

Hope you get this worked out...inexpensively

Yeah, I know how it can be sometimes. At first I was feeling bad about selling my eclipse a few weeks ago, then I thought about all of those long night building the block or replacing the tranny a few times. I know that comes with modding, but I'm enjoying not having to stay up all night in the garage

Damn, I've only found one tranny so far, and they want $1300 for it... that's ****ing bull****.

I called Brandywine and they didn't have any, so they referred me to this other place that is charging a rediculous amount for a used DSM tranny. I called like 8 other places around here and in the Rockville area, but no luck so far.

This sucks.
