Sova's 3rd Annual East Coast Summer meet *CHAT*

What:

Sova is throwing a summer meet to invite our friends from the North (Capital Auto Club) down for some fun in the sun at the park and then to our local BEACH!


Who:

Anyone from CRSX who wants to attend. Last year we had visitors from NY all the way down to GA. This year we expect more! So if you can read this post, you're invited. If you are traveling from afar, you will want to make hotel accomodations after and maybe even the day before the meet.

Please post up if you plan to attend, so that we can get a ball park figure of how many people to accomodate.

How:

We'll start the meet off at at the park. Grills are already provided, so we'll need food. The locals will be taking care of initial food to get it started off, but we ask that you bring $$ to throw in for a food run if/when it runs out. Feel free to bring a dish{s) if you like! Alchohol is NOT permitted.

Bring your football gear as well, because this is going to be another grudge match game between the North and the South. Its our home turf, so Capital... watch out.

After the park, we'll caravan over to Virginia Beach for some fun in the waves. Be prepared for parking fee's as I belive it is $5 per car. I will update this post once I have an exact cost.

This is a rain or shine meet; so barring a hurricane... we'll be there.

Mike, I know you're referring to the board, but the people I've met up with from there are really great people. I'm friends with FireRSX, the mod for the Mid A section. Their BBQs are always fun and the people always friendly. I'm going sailing this weekend, or else I go myself. I just wanted to add this incase some people from here were considering going but didn't quite get what you meant by them being "vicious."

 

Sailing? I always knew you were cultured...

 

I would go, but I have company until Sunday morning. Sounds fun though and yes I am sure the VB Police will be out in force.
