Bert... I think Ryan has my DR's right now..? dude, if you still have then you want me to move them?
As for the break in, it has not been done yet. The plan is 1000 miles, both city & highway alternating every couple of hours... I will be cruising up and down 270/70/95 and stopping every now and then at towns and driving around.
Hell man, the car is STILL in LA right now... Can't seem to get the transportation company to pick it up...

I don't profess to be a track master, but I think I can manage her down the 1/4 in sub-12sec runs. I've got to work on my launch a little, but the car's more than capable of pulling those numbers given the right set of tires and a solid take off.

^^^ I think I spoke too soon. Slicks aren't going to fly due to the BBK. The largest MH or MT slicks come in is 16", and with that they still wouldn't clear. Looks like I'm stuck with a set of DR's... That said, I'm looking at the BFG T/A Drag Radials. 315/30/18's on 18x11" rims. Rims to be decided...
I should still be able to get a solid stick from those, although slicks would be ideal. We'll see

Dr's are way bettter for dragging than any street tire, but IMO much harder for somebody who doesnt have a lot of track experience to master the launch in over slicks. How big are your brakes in the back? Im guessing 14"? I have a 16" wheel clear my 12.9" Brembos...
Yep, great for a time attack track day / bad for a 1/4 track day... We all have to make sacrifices at some point...
That said, I'll have the DR's at a minimum for the next 1/4 day. I'd also like to get a set of DSS axles by then too, but I'm really trying to draw a line with the car for the rest of the year. It sucks that no matter what you do to your ride, there's always something else around the corner begging your attention. Nitrous, built long block, axles, radiator, oil cooler, ps cooler, hoses, etc, etc, etc.... LOL.

Oh my god, my friend Ryan and a few other friends have been taking me to Lorton for the last couple weeks. It all started when my friend ryan called and said yo we found a perfect spot for racing about 3 weeks ago, he said it was in lorton, that there was no cops at all there and that there were many exits out of it so even if the cops came, you could easily evade. I went there total of 5 times, never raced even though all these wrxs and other cars wanted to race me. and I was supposed to go again on sunday, the day they all got arrested, but man I always had a bad feeling something like this was going to happen there. Very weird, deserted place... So thank god I decided not to go.
Thats a real shady spot and if you took 10 seconds too look at it you would realize its a great place for an easy ambush. Once you are in, one or two cops could easily bottle up your whole group. Speed bumps, no outs, no back exit, nothing.
yeah man, i just, that article just kind of freaked me out, like I was reading it, I was like yeah yeah another street racing article, then I read where it happened I was like
. thank god I didn't go

You always need a back exit, dead ends with no way outs are definately the wrong place to race.
