Default VDC/ABS Question

On my way home after washing my car I noticed that the brake/vdc off/slip came on. I just recently installed the wheel spacers last wed and since then I probably put about 300 miles on the car. Could the wheel spacers cause this to happen. If I take it to the dealership will they void my warranty because of the wheel spacers? Any input would be appreciated thanks.

only if they can prove that wheel spacers wrecked ur sensors, then they can void JUST THAT PART of the car. They won't void ur whole warranty, motor, tranny, just because of a wheel problem. But from my experiences, I would take those spacers off if I were u

Oh yeah, u said u also recently washed ur car, the water + soap combo makes tires slippery and that could've caused your light to come on as well, pretty normal.

Spacers caused extra stress on my rack n pinion on my old car (GTI) and totally destroyed it costing me $1400 in repairs, (I had a set of 20mm's). From then on, no more spacers for me, it's too much unncessary stress on those things even though some people would probably state otherwise. However great for looks!

spacers pushing too far out past a certain scrub radius can cause wheel bearing problems as well.

If thats the case I'm taking them off before I take it to the dealership.
