Skyline drive on Saturday January 6???
#3
Fred Nissan has my ride, they are throwing inner and outter tie rod ends on now, so it should be ready. If not, I am still going to go for the drive. My wife has the 06 Jetta GLI with turbo and paddle shifters, that needs to be broke in. LOL
I have a few non Z or G friends that are coming too.

I could be down for a drive. I have wanted to do it for awhile and it would be good to meet some of you. My roommate (a GTO owner would probably be down as well.
What's the roundtrip time take?

This is the email I sent some of my non G-Z friends.
My cell is 703-731-2057. I dont flake like some meet organizers.
Even if my car isnt done. I will be at FairOak Shopping Center at 1020ish AM on Saturday morning!!
WHY: After getting T-Boned in mid-December: I finally get my car back, God willing... ITS ROAD TRIP TIME!
It will be close to 70 degrees on Saturday. So lets plan a day of out door hiking, a great drive and maybe a picnic in the Shenandoah National Park? The driving is awesome, but nothing compared to the scenery.
Craig C. the southern part is closed, so you would have to drive up then go west to get to the park, if considering. I know thats a hall and a half, just wanted to extend the invite for that new C6 with 450HP!
NICE, NICE, NICE DRIVE, beautiful park, plenty to do. Below are some key links to persuade you all. We can split up stay together, whatever!

65+ degrees on Saturday January 6th. Because of the mountains, the claimed 60+ on the message from the number above. (bring a jacket) The most southern park of the park is closed for hunting and ice, however this is about 2 hours south from the northern starting point of Front Royal. Last time we did not drive anywhere close to that far south before exiting off to head back home. This is a day trip for the most part. So pack a lunch. If we all have energy, we can all do dinner together in VA afterwords, we maybe sick of each other by then though..lol!
Starting time: 10:30am at Fair Oaks Shopping Center, Fairfax, VA in front of Sears Car Garage Area (note meet as far away from the building as possible, close to the outer loop of the main road, the ring around the Mall.) Sears is just a point of reference.
