After months of waiting my ship has come in!! A new shortblock will be going in the Z this week. Looks like im sticking with NA VQ power for now. hope to meet up with everyone at a meet soon! (hopefully in MD, VA = higway patrol ****'s!!!)
I sucked water into the intake and sent a piston into the block. I had been debating multiple options. I bought eagle rods, arias pistons, arp studs, and a cometic head gasket already so that will all be going into the new casting. it sucks spending my s/c $$$ on parts for a stupid mistake but live and learn right.
yup cold air intake during that monsoon season we had!!
I stll may do an LS1. a friend of mine an I have a 89 240sx that we just finished stripping down... dilema we have a rb25 and trans for it already but no time time for a second project, maybe down the road Ill do an LS1 in that thing. and hang on to the rb25 for a while. who knows what we can do with that... Look for me in the fall to be posting s/c pics. I can fanlly cash out my stock option through work (ferguson ent.)
but tonight celebration lol!!

Wont insurance pay for the weather damage? Sucking in water.. I got a friend who is doing a claim for that same matter.. Ill let u know the outcome shortly.....
Id swap those cometic HG's for some HKS gaskets. Especially if your going to one day push high boost/high power. So your gonna run a built engine with a S/C?
