IMO. We're not a club but more of a Family of pretty good friends at this point. Clubs are for people who are too serious for their own good (i.e presidents, etc.). It's just kinda becomes a little too serious for me. This is for fun (which we have plenty of), not for mandatory meets and gatherings like a "club" typically denotes. And Im with Bert, the area is pretty large. We all meet up for some great times pretty often. I don't think a "club" is necessary.
Anyone want to draft up an application for the newbs? We don't need any more Shayan's. LOL
Oh and did I mention, I will be part of the No. Va. crew shortly. Sorry, MD I gotta kill my commute so I have some more free time and for my sanity.

But what are these dues you speak of?

I agree with Robbie, alot of us are like family. We even have our own "mid-a-momma."

For what it's worth, we tried like hell to start a formal club during '06, but just couldn't generate the interest. We had a web-site w/ forums, gallery, everything. We even sponsored ZDayZ last year! I still have the capital350zclub.com domain name, but there's not much there anymore.
I recommend just keeping it fun and friends unless you can get a core group of folks who are really into getting a club off the ground.
