The Glory Days isn't too far I guess. Take 28 down to 7 and it's right there. That should be interesting though. A bunch of tipsy people driving modded Zs. very low key. lol

Party at Dave's shop? Hmmm, that would be up to him. I was only suggesting Glory Days for the after party. Not sure how their scheduling is, but typically the cars that are showing get staged the night prior and left overnight. If its a 2 day show then they get left for the Sat. night and possibly the Fri. night as well since staging get done the day before typically.

I think Last year we staged of Fri. evening and weren't allowed to leave with the cars unitl the show closed Sat. night, which is like 11:00. Who ever is going to show (Im still undecided) needs to have les than 1/4 (sometimes 1/8) of a tank before entering the Expo center. And they are EXTREMELY strict about it. Too much gas = no show for you. Also, your battery must be disconnected at ALL times while inside and set up. And for those who plan on showing make sure travel arrangements are made to get you home. The bar at the hotel next door or Applebee's gets pretty crowded typically as well, but thats always another option.

wait so, by show you mean, just having your car inside instead of outside right ? I've heard bad things happen to cars outside in HIN..

HIN is an indoor show. the cars outside are for spectators only typically. Although some shows (i.e. O.C. car show) do both indoors and outdoors. Either way the cars inside are staged prior and must remain there till the event closes.

As far as "show" I mean displaying in the event. Whether you choose to be judged or not, thats different, but most "showing" are in it for competition.

Count me in also I will make the TREK up there from down here in Bad Newz, I think though that I will ask Dave if I can leave my car outside the shop so it don't get messed with. Can I catch a ride with someone from there???

ill probably go to say hey to all you guys, but my car is no where near decent enough to be shown, let alone judged. I love going to smaller shows in the VA/MD/PA area though, so youll see me at those. Usually with a lawn chair out front of my car and a cooler of beer near by.

Anyway, ill have the jeep and be willing to give rides to people that have the cars inside if they need/want.

Nowell. I agree. So I have to ask why do you think it shouldn't be shown?

LOL about the wheels!!

Honestly, my car doesn't hold a candle to people like Mike's, Toby's and Bren'ts car. Hell even Steven's is more of a "show" quality car than mine. Honestly, I built my car for me, not for someone else. I know the politics that go into shows (and the current problems with emotion and others), and frankly, im just not having it. I know, I could put it inside with a sign, and I might do that considering who else does. I would rather just keep my car for myself, my friends and family in the Mid A, and the small local shows that appreciate the work people put in their cars, not the dollar ammount like the NOPI's and the HIN's.

I guess its what happens when you commercialize. I would rather just help out those of you that are showing than put mine in. So the offer still stands!

Nowell, you should still enter... your Z is hotness, and I'm sure you wouldn't want that sitting in the parking lot for some of the ****ers that live in that area to **** with.

*EDIT* N/M... saw you're taking the beast (Jeep). Still trying to find the wife a Jeep out here.
