I've been driving my Z in the snow...it's gotten pretty ****tty lately too. I've got Blizzak LM-22's in their second second and they are noticeably not as good as last year, but still 10 times better than 99% of the cars on the road.

We got 2 inches of snow a couple of weeks ago. I backed out of my driveway (slight incline ~25 degrees), and ended up in the street sideways with all 4 locked up. Then it took me 30 minutes to get back into the garage.... 350Z+snow = stuck.

yeah man...like you won't notice it unless you go outside. I had like pellets of ice in my hair. I had to like use a towel to get it out. Even if roads were cleared, the ice is hardening up pretty quick. So anyone who has to drive...do it carefully. I drove from Gburg to Frederick between 40 mph to 55 mph the whole way. Past urbana, the roads were just caked with ice/slush/snow...but like it wasn't too bad to drive on. Everyone was driving super slow.

I was really tempted to take the Z out into the empty neighboorhood for some 180s..bwhaha...but the more I think aobut it...I just get more lazy and realize I'll probably screw myself somehow.

This is the price for living in the city. I'm still waiting on a spot in my building's enclosed lot. Oh and my cell phone cam sucks.

Wow.. well.. the sentra rocked again! Took Sarah to her work, went got her flowers (since I doubt there will be many on-time deliveries) took them back to her work, then drove to my job.

Be carefull out there .. there are some real slick spots..

My hood had not been plowed, nor was Sarahs work,.. but the main roads are mostly shushy.. side roads are pita...

Default I'm getting a car cover!!!

I've had my 2006.5 Nissan 350Z for approximately three weeks now...I live in Bergen County, NJ....And yes, I dusted the Z off and tried to go on Route 80! DUMB DUMB DUMB, I got stuck just 2 minutes from my home and tried to manuver out...I was inches away from the concrete guardrail...tried to back up and still stuck! I got towed back home and was glad I did not sell my 1996 stratus (even though I parted it out last week) The strat got me to work with out getting stuck....My Z see's no snow!!! I'm going to find a car cover for the Z....BTW, it's cheaper to drive the stratus and pay $400 additional insurance per year than to buy snow tires (in my case)...

Red face thaw my z

Took pics of my Z this morning. Talk about a frozen. You can clearly see why the potenzas suck as a winter tire. What you see is not a wet tire..but actual frozen ice on the tire. <shakes head>

People had a hard time getting out of my area. Hell, I had a hard time..i decided to wait till they cleared the roads some more.

Car Cover rocks! 3" of ice/snow slipped right off with a slight push! How're the major highways in NOVA area now? Still not sure if I want to go out for Valentine's day yet.

Man, oh man, That actually pains me to see a Z looking like that... I really hope you are taking it easy with her... Those tires look like hockey pucks.
I would honestly freak if I came out to see my car like that...

Be safe out there guys, stay home if you need to. A day home off work is much better then a wrecked car and possible injury....
