Skyline Drive is a 105-mile road that winds along the crest of the mountains through the length of the Shenandoah National Park. The cruise provides vistas of the spectacular landscape to the east and west.




We’ll meet at Bob Evans Restaurant in Manassas at 10:00. The restaurant is just off of I66. We depart at 11:00 for a leisurely caravan to Front Royal - the north entrance to Shenandoah National Park.




Dinner will be at Big Meadows Wayside (about 51 miles south of the entrance). The Wayside houses a full-service dining room with carryout service and offers a varied menu of regional favorites and contemporary food.

David, Thanks again for taking the time to organize this awesome drive.
I REALLY, REALLY hope I can make it this year, but right now too many things are up in the air.

For anyone who has not done this, it is a GREAT opportunity to do some driving with your Z buddies, bring your significant other, and get some great shot of your car.

Or you could sign up for Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point with mazdadrivers.com April 14-15th and go for a real drive. Not a sermon, just a thought.

I've missed all the skyline drives before, not this one. My birthday is on April 19, during a weekday. So this will be my early present, hopefully my wife doesn't come, she'll complain the whole time.
