Mike D (Mdracer76) ... he'll detail your cack as an added bonus.

Most of us detail our own cars. Personally I wouldn't trust any of the detailers around here or anywhere. I have enough swirl marks as it is, I don't need a detailer to add more.

I don't *really* detail for profit.. but come spring time.. I think I may start. I'd be happy to give you any advice needed to avaiod getting scrratches and swirls in the first place.

I also am going to arrange a spring detail day this year.

There's a shop behind the Old Vertex here in McLean that do an awesome job. It's a lil pricey though $120-$300 depending on what you want done.

I was just about to recommend these people. They do really good work and usually have some high-end cars in there so you know they don't mess anything up.

Give him a try if you want.

Mike likes teh buttsecks.

+1 for Mike and his mad detailing skillz.

Mike, got a side question for you... have you heard of Glare products? At HIN Honolulu, I was talking to this dude that works for Glare, and he said he'll get me hooked up with a free Glare detail (something like a $600 value). I'm of course gonna do it, but just curious if it's well-known or what.

Well see i would do it myself and have before, but im just lazy and would rather pay someone else to do my manual labour for this one time

Then once my car gets its original shine back, then i will do it myself every month.

I was going to mention hunter (sp). His photos in the detailing forum are impressive.
