why is that guy all over the road around the 2:30 mark....there aren't any cars and he is just going to the far left to the far right and back and forth, off the road almost...i thought he was about to hit the wall or go off the pavement.

and why was there tape on the hood seams of the supra... sure didn't make it go faster. :O

 

To hold the hood down Mike. Obviously running 150mph for minutes at a time could be an issue. Loved the drafting in the video....

 

next high speed race on you tube like that would have alberto's car in it. he would be blowing by the guys around 190+ mph. although, i'm surprised that sustained boost for that long of a period of time didn't hurt their engines.

 

And I thought ricky bobby was the only one getting sling shot.

@120 the hood starts to rattle...its been an issue since the last body style of the Supra. All the Japanese videos you see with them testing the Supra have tape over the hoodline. I guess at 120 even a 1/8th inch gap is enough to yank the hinges off the hood....lol!

Just reminded me of a time when i was chasing a C6 in my Z, we were on the highway and he couldn't pull away (i dropped out around 120 or 130), i was pretty excited. But yeah, if we went from a stop i am sure i would have been destroyed.

 

I ran with a C6 on I-95 south and same thing, he couldn't pull away from me. There was alot of traffic so I didn't try to pass him,instead I merely just kept up. I'm sure at the track it would be very close or I would win by a half a car or something.
