unfortunally my family will be moving during the summer because my kids schools.

 

Well thats cool, you just need to be persistent! Find out when the paper comes out and hit it hard on that day and you should be fine. Try some of the local webpages like vb.com or something.

I'm originally from Huntington Beach, CA myself and had orders to a ship in San Diego but got an ORD MOD and was sent here. Its not too bad, been here now about 4yrs.

 

i am 20 years old and have lived in the same house all my life at the beach, i love va beach and i go to ODU in norfolk. what schools are you looking for? high middle or elm schools? beach does have the best along with each school has its own academy now. the nicer high end schools are ***, FC, and kellum, low end stuff is salem, landstown, bayside, greenrun. just look at your surrounding areas and your kids can apply and if they go to an academy they can basically get bussed to any high school along with our Votech and the Advanced tech center

 

wow... norfolk naval base... im sorry... your gonna hate parking for E6 and below... plus its the worse base/traffic/location/people/chiefs/officers/squids/navy women/cops/ laws///.. did I miss anything???

I wish I had a choice but they were no choice for an senior E-6 unless I downgrade to an E-5 billet.

 

And you dont wanna do that. Especially if you plan on making chief someday.

 

Bringing this back up since my move has started. I will start my drive from her on the 8th and I will make a stop in Ohio then i should be moving in to my new place in Va Beach by then end of the month. How is the weather?
