I was washing my car during my lunch break and I received a emergency alert on my company phone saying: Rt. 29 and Stringfellow closed. After filling up at the Shell, I head East on 29 towards Fairfax and saw a PP 350z w/chrome rims crashed in the center guard rail. The air bags came out and if not for the guard rail, the Z would have ended on the other side of the 29. I hope the guy is okay, there was nobody on scene except for the fire and police. BAD ACCIDENT......

From the mods on his or her car, I would have thought that he was a member of this web site.

 

If it is, he/she is... probably too embarassed to post. Then again, there are tons of modified Z's that don't even go on these forums.

I met one of his "boys" randomly at my cousins house. He was telling me about this Persian guy who has chrome rims on his 350z. Long story short he said his name was Shayan.....I laughed. I was just putting two and two together to come to my conclusion....I could be wrong

Well regardless of how stupid the guy maby, if the air bags deployed it was a bad accident. ....Even idiots dont deserve to die (In most cases). I just hope who ever it is they are OK and they learned a lesson if acting dumb, however some old lady could of pulled out infront of him doing 5 over the speed limit, and he saved her, but not himself...who knows?

 

Heard from a friend that lives nearby the crash site that the ppw 350z was racing a older model blue m3. The z hit a guard rail, the driver died at the crash site.

HOWEVER, I went online and did a search through ffx police site, and there were no deaths that day due to accidents in the county........

 

Update!!!

On 3/20. One death happened in Tysons from guy in a Toyota Camry. That's it. I doubt this guy in the 350 died. That is all....

Not really sure about the age of the driver. My friends mom stopped at the accident and asked the officers what was going on, I guess they told her about the race and also informed her that the kid in the 350z didnt make it, something about them trying to land the medivac but it was too late. She said that the guy in the m3 who stopped at the scene appeared to be younger than us (we are 23). Not positive that its all true, but I doubt very seriously she would lie about something like this.

 

ooo, the suspense. usually when someone dies, there's a pretty big commotion. haven't heard anything on the local news so far.
