At 650 you would think mine is getting lower..but I have only had it for a year now 25K to go...so maybe 3.5 more years at this rate. That is another reason why going FI is such a touchie subject for me....lol

Congrats man...I have 2 titles but combined they cost me under 5K...lol bought from parents and stole a 77 buick for $1500.... one day the G will be owned by me...for now Navy Fed claims it as their baby!

One step ahead of ya, I've been leasing a 10X20 storage unit since last November. Big enough to to fit my Z, Golf Clubs, and other random **** that used to clutter my Condo up. Eventually when I move to a larger house having a garage will be top priority. Knowing that no one can eff with your car when you're not around is def. a good feeling.

I'm curious ... Other than Brent and Bobby have you heard of any other Roadsters getting into the 12s/13s ?. Seems like most roadster owners on here stay away from the drag strip, which I can understand.

Oh I see, yeah I'll probably wait a few more years if I think about getting a place with a garage. The way I see it the $190 I'm paying for the storage unit is probably what I'd be paying extra in mortgage If I had a place with a garage. Although the interest on that would be deductible. Having to move trumps everything though.

Totally forgot about Sherv and his beast. He's up there with Bert, but probably 200+ pounds heavier.

As far as I know, neither of those guys ran 13's NA. BobbyRitz (Robert) needed N20 (100 shot + slicks) to run 13.1, I dont think Brent drag raced his car NA, that thing was Greddy TT as long as I can remember/knew him. And no, I havent heard of a Roadster hitting 13's stock. I think its a slightly further stretch than a G doing it, but I still feel its possible. Nothing a few well chosen bolt-ons couldnt take care of.

At the track day he ran something like that at @115-116mph when his car wasnt breaking up-BUT remember that was with an upgraded snail from TN, not the standard 60-1 in the stage 1 kit. Now that you mention Sherv, I know there is a guy in MD on the boards here "wtfnoturbo" who had an APS ST Roadster he had claimed 12.8 a while ago. Thats about it for the roadster's, I forget what Brents best time is, but I think its high 12's also on his stock block Greddy set-up...

Yea, my best time with the basic greddy kit (stock block) & a lot of I.C.E was 12.847@114.04mp, 60ft =2.216. I am pretty sure that was running around 400 - 450whp. I went one more time after that with a bunch of additional upgrades, but blew my axle on the first real run.

I was just saying that I am sure I could have gotten better #'s if I had not busted the axle. If my car ever gets fixed, I hope to hit the track again and get some low 12's or 11's (without breaking anything of course..... LOL)

Yea, it is a matter of not breaking anything that will probably preclude me launching hard... Therefore breaking into 11 would be good enough for me.
