recieved my 90w clear white 4 bulb whelen kit a couple months ago, just getting around to getting it installed this friday. if everything goes well I will have something to share next meet. my friend mike is doing the install for me i traded him crab cakes, he is experienced in putting them on limos.

6 hours labor and still not done, we got the lights mounted and the wires loomed and ran stealth. Just have to hook up the contol box and find a place for it. run power and ground, and 6 control wires. I dont recommend this to any one unless you have an a$$ load of time to put in.

 

Yup. They are a pain in the a$$. Any true strobe kit is. Approipriately wiring and installing all the strobes is what takes forever. If you think the Z is bad, try a cop car. (any of them, lol) But then again you just take those completely apart and install all the other goodies at the same time so it evens out.

Let us know how it comes out. I hope those crabcakes were REALLY good. You got a steal on that deal.

Did you get any water leaks in your lights after the install? I'm hoping to do the same as you did but worry about the install.
