Default looking for a new job, dont know where to start

hey guys,
got a job question, maybe somebody can recommend something...

I recently lost my business about 5 months ago and worked for my fiance's dad's restaurant since then... Heh, don't like it much... restaurants are not my thing and her step-dad is a douchebag anyways, so I am agressively looking for something new, that pays decent...30k and up... im still a college student and i need some job that will pay my bills and school...

I got my resume together and went to a few dealerships, trying to apply to be a car salesman. Went to BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti... it seems like it's one of the options.

Any suggestions, guys? I'm going freaking crazy working for my inlaw... He's a nice guy overall, but working with him for 50 hrs a week is driving me insane.

Just had to let some steam out and ask my Z buddies what other options are out there to make good buck and have enough time for school.

Thanks in advance

Are you anywhere close to Columbia, MD? Have you heard of the place called Micros System? I used to work there and my old supervisor became some manager in the customer support department. I'm still really tight with him and can hook people up pretty easily. They only hire full time. But since the customer support is open 24/7, maybe you can work your schedule around and still be able to go to school.

I don't know what you skills are, so it is difficult to offer suggestions. If you would benefit from something like a skills assessment, visit here: http://www.dllr.state.md.us/county/.

If you already know what you want to do, search here: https://mwe.dllr.state.md.us/Default.asp?.

Yup, the point of sales system company. Which system did you use? If you used 3700, it's even better.

Do you base not liking restaurants off of working for the one restaurant under a douchebag you talked about? It's hard to label any job when working for a douchebag.

POS line of work should be a pretty good paying job since some of the POS companies... at least the one we deal with, rape people.

I sell myself on street corners at night, make my own hours, and the people tend to be really nice. I can hook you up with a good corner if you want. Just let me know.
