Everyone wins except me - I unFunction:TUNED myself + PICS!
Dave: "Meet up @ 10 for a video shoot of Juan's AWD"
Me: (fumbling through my cell directory calling all ricers in the area)
The day starts off with the strip'age of Gooey's car.
Gooey: "So Sly... you got my taillights... wanna buy the headlights too?"
Sly: "UmmMm.. naaah, I'll have to take off the front bumper and it's going to take too long..."
(after 3 more offers... nada!)
Umzz: "I'm getting your spacer!"
Dave is seen below with the removal of the parts from Umzz's car:
Juan: "Let me get your headlights!"
Gooey: "Won't it take too long to swap them out? ... and yours are yellow too!"
Me: "I have 2 extra sets if you want to swap"
Juan: "How much?"
Gooey: "hhmmm... i dunno... $300?"
Juan: "Ah shoot... nevermind, I don't have that much..."
Gooey: "ok how much then?"
Juan: "$150!"
Gooey: "Deal!"
(He has officially been the first person to get a better deal than me on the forums, I will never buy 06's for anything over $149 now)
Commence Swap!
Look at those extra pair of headlights in the box, how handy!
Swap successful!
Sly: "OMG, if I knew you guys had brought tools along...."
*slaps his head 92312313412x for turning down the deal on 06' headlights
And to rub it in even more, here's Sly's car WITHOUT 06' headlights:
But at least he got ricey lookin tail lights!

Dave prepares the digital camcorder to record Juan's AWD in action (coming to a youtube near you, stay TUNED!):
So we go out for a night of hardcore back-road twisty action, drifting, donuts, and *spirited driving,* the best part was: It was pouring down snow! (without the snow/rain/hazardous road conditions it wouldn't have been as fun)
Anyways, the red RX-8 (Ted) and I decide to do a double donut where the noses of our cars are pointing toward one another traveling in a circle. Ok... so maybe we were doing it a little too fast for our own good and the force applied on my front right tire was too much for its own good and it ultimately ripped itself right off the rim!
Next all I hear is: *KABOOOM!!!* *RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE* *smell of burnt rubber...*
Donut FTB! (For The Boom!)
Whoooopsie! Good thing the rim didn't get touched nor did Ted ram into me. I had to run back to the house, grab the spare, and off we went again! Spare Tire + Snow + Drift FTW!
Conclusion:
Winners: Juan gets his headlights, Sly gets his taillights, Gooey's car is back to stock + he has a load of cash in his hands, Umzz gets a plenum spacer!

I have been thinking about those headlight all weekend, I can't believe I turned them down!!!! I had beer before I showed up. I know that had something to do with my thought process!!!FU##!!!!!!!!

Damn! wish I would have known about all this part swapping!! Gooey got the stock exhaust and Y-pipe from me earlier that day and I have definetly been interested in new head and taillight! Damn damn damn!!

yea, definetly! he was at my house what I consider "bright and early" for a Saturday morning and I would have been game to tag along and swap. I definetly have cash too! Frustration, damnit!

in other news...LOVING the 07. They made some few changes in the interior and the suspension and clutch is very very smooth. Feels like im drivin a luxury vehicle. Time to swap out the suspension
