FEELER: newly rebuilt trans. CD006 installed $ 1200 OBO
i just bought the CD009 and put it in.. my spare just got done being rebuilt,
I don't think i will mess up this new one and i still owe the guy $400 for the CD009.
I can install it in one day (6-7hrs) at my base garage for that price.
its just a feeler, so let me know if any one is interested
This was rebuilt by a professional transmission shop.
I will be doing the installation in one day.
I perfer to use AMS Oil synthetic GL-4
YOU have to dispose of your old Transmission, not me.
who out there needs a new transmission?

Not interested in the tranny but-where did you have your tranny rebuilt and what parts were needed? I assume sychros went bad? I have a spare I want to rebuild before fall so when I grenade #4 I can swap em out.
^ JE import performance is a good place for transmission work, gear and synchro coating and treatments are available as well as fully blueprinted or custom setups.

i know someone here local who works everyday at a Transmission shop.
He has his own garage, lift, and tools at home. He does this work everyday and on the weekends.. ranges from all sorts of car repair...
But he specializes in transmission rebuilds, including automatics and manuals
PM me if your intrested... Im 100% sure that you will save money throught him...
Especially if i tell him that it is my transmission.
As far as parts goes, i get 25% off for all nissan parts through my uncle who is a manager for Mossy Nissan in California
or go to www.nissanpartscheap.com for 20% off the regular price

How much did the tranny rebuild cost. Mine just went the other night. Also who is your uncle. You should see if he can hook me up with some parts. Since I'm right near Mossy.
Also what tranny code is yours.

the tranny code i have is CD006, the one i have currently in my G35 is a CD009.
I had bought the bell housing for $320 and all new synchro's, hub and sleeves, and gaskets for almost $450. The Rebuilt cost me about $300 since i knew someone who did it on the side.
As far as nissans website www.nissanpartscheap.com, you can save 20% off compared to the dealership.
My unlcle works at the Nissan in National City, CA. He is the General Manager, therefore i cannot refer people for parts, i have to call it in and tell them its for me.. (its only 5% cheaper anyways)
goodluck on your install..!
