Default I am.. an .. ashhoe!

I am evil....
The apartment complex I live in is forcing us to pay $30 extra a month so we can leave garbage bags outside our doors and have someone pick it up.

They gave us no choice in signing up for this 'service'.

I make 2 bags of trash a month.. so thats like $15 a bag?

F'that!

So.. I had no choice in calling the firemarshal and letting him know that the community was in violation of section 10-27.3 of International Fire Code (2003 edition)

The Firemarshall will be making a suprise visit on Tuesday

(what would you guys have done?)

Same thing. I have to pay $30 a month for trash service and like you maybe have 2 bags a month. I live in a house and the HOA requires you to have a trash service.

I did.. and they said that allot of residents were complaining about the same.. and that the directive came from the "main office" so they had no choice in the matter.. and that there was nothing that they could do.. hogwash.

I asked if there was someeone at the main office I could write to..and they said no. More hogwash.

I would've done the same thing, but my friend is saying that he wouldn't want his wife to go to the trash bin by herself (whenever he's on-call). Houston has some sleezy@$$ peeps living here lol.

Have you noticed how the head of the HOA tend to either be control freaks or bored housewives with a sense of purpose in their meaningless life by enforcing some stupid rule.

People of low intellegence and charactor that believe they Reign over the "Kingdom"

But thats true with much of Management. The most enjoyable thing with me in my management years was climbing the ladder and getting rid of the dead weight that attempted to Reign over me

well, HOA is what helps keep the value of the home better. I'm currently living in a new neighborhood w/ no HOA and you see people driving on their grass, leaving a bunch of BS outside of their yard, not cutting thier grass, Pouring concrete all over their drive way to extend it and etc.... Things like that is what HOA watches out for and it helps harmonize the area.

Just my 02 cent.
