I just got a call from a VA tax lady this morning (****ing 5:30) saying that I owe personal property tax on my DSM... which is registered/tagged in PA (which is also my home of record). The only ties I had in VA was that I was stationed there for 2 years. Can any of you guys hook me up with the exemptions on the personal property tax? Can't find it on the VA tax site. Thanks.

I found what I was looking for (Soldiers and Sailors Act) and got a hold of the stupid ***** that called at zero dark thirty this morning... tore her a new cornhole. I really can't believe they tried to charge property tax on a vehicle originally bought/tagged/registered in Kansas and then transfered to PA. No ties to VA whatsoever. They ****ing had my license suspended for this (so now I'm driving illegaly).

Oh, if any of you guys know of someone looking for a 2G, let me know. It's not feasable for me to ship it out here anymore, and I don't really feel like paying an arm+leg to have it put back together. In-laws won't let me store it at their house either (association rules FTL).
