This post is a Feeler to gauge interest. Trying to see if we can get enough people to rent Mason Dixon Dragway for the day ( 4 hours )

1. Which Month ( Morning or Evening )
2. Which Day ( Monday - Friday )


Here is the price break down.

4 hours is the minimum time at $650 for 1 car

2-10 cars would be $50 each car
11-30 cars would be $45 for each car
31-50 cars would be $40 for each additional car


So going by this we are looking at

$1100 for 10 cars would be $110 a piece
$1955 for 30 Cars would be $65 a piece
$2610 for 50 cars would be $52 a piece

Week days are fine. Weekend can not confilict with scheduled events, but can be prior to the event except sundays.

They need at least 1 week prior notice to allow for scheduling, both lanes included, track prep included.


Mason Dixon is located in Hagerstown MD and is right off interstate 70. They have recently updated their track as of last week.

As you see from the prices, the more people we get the lower the price will be for each of us.

Hey bro, maybe you guys should get in touch with Brent... we had the track for the entire day (way more than 4 hours) and I think we paid what, $40-$50 bucks a car? Not sure how much he paid out of pocket though, but it's an idea.

 

He paid a lot out of pocket though. 4 hours is plenty of time to break a record or break your car

 

Took me what, 6/7 hours (to pop something)? So you're actually gonna track it this year?

 

I am yes, after summer when Im done enjoying it and ready to break it again...

 

Maybe we should pick up a few extra axles and transmissions to have on hand

I have every other friday off. I voted September but it really doesn't matter which month.

 

yes, we should stock some axles and possibly a transmission or two for those twin turbo built engine guys with insane power levels.

 

can i go too? i don't drive any nissan branded vehicle, but I can do with a camera at the tree or at the pit area, can make up!

I voted for a Friday in September, but whenever is fine with me. I can usually take a day off without anyone noticing.

 

Any day is good for me as long as i get notice as to when so i can get the day off.

 

Looks like we are getting alot of votes for Friday. Just need to narrow down the month.

If we do a friday, the evening might work out best for most?

Looks like we can have the track from 9am to 10pm. Just need to pick a 4 hour time slot. If you guys want i can find out how much each additional hour will be.


In August they have Friday the 17th and Friday the 24th available at this time.

Friday 6-10 PM would probably fit everyone's schedule since most don't get off work til 4 or 5. Plus temps should be cooler.

 

I'd love a Friday night in September. 6-10 would be perfect, IMHO.
