Yeah I think this is the type that we saw run a 12.7X.

R&T list the 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG 1/4 @ 12.39

Gotta be a typo.

2003 E55 AMG

Engine horsepower 469-hp @ 6,100 rpm
Engine torque 516 lbs.-ft. @ 2,650 rpm
Curb weight 3,815 lbs.

no way it can run low 12s stock.

Yes way Karl-they are monsters out of the whole with crazy TQ curves and beefed up tranny's that shift fast. They have trapped as high as 116mph...they are much quicker in person than paper suggests.

I would not see where that would be a problem. As long as they pay.

Hmm looks like I need to prep my car for this meet =). Dont want to look too slow compared to the cars coming.
I have a delimena now and maybe you guys can help out. I want to mod my car a bit more and only thing available for the 07's I can think of now is a more aggressive final drive or nitrous oxide. Both should run me around 1k installed. What do you guys think is a smarter investment?

Theres drawbacks to each. Final drive being the higher rpm speeds on the highway which can be annoying. The nitrous a chance to blow the motor. Dont know if the timing can be changed on the 07's yet, so theres that drawback.
