Since we have such a great and frequent time with the law recently. I have decided to hide us all at the parking lot behind the Skyline Sport and Health Club and Target off of Kings St aka Route 7. I counted the parking spaces and it holds just over 260 cars so I think we will have enough room. The place is isolated from Route 7, Geroge Mason Drive, and Seminary Road. These streets make a triangle around the meet location. As long as everyone keeps their car in a straight line and under 4,000 RPMs in the parking lot, no one will bother us. This is a Sunday so things should be smooth for traffic and hassels.


Where the heck is this place?


I395 north from mixing bowl or I396 South from DC Exit King St. West. Pass the Fridays on your way up the hill. Go through a like 2 lights. Cross George Mason Drive. Once you pass the light to the Target entrance, stay in your left lane. Make a left at the next intersection which is the light at South Jefferson. Go up the ramp as if you are headed to Skyline Sport and Health. Pass the three big buildings on your right (one has a blue SAIC sign on top). Make a right at the stop sign..you will be behind those huge buildings away from being seen by the POPO...

Alternate way sort of

Go through one light then make a right at the next light. Go up the ramp. Make left at stop sign on the top of the hill. Enter parking lot.

Since the cops are so bad in VA. I say we meet here then cruise through DC up Rock Creek Parkway...we need to stay out of VA as much as possible. I think this could be a regular spot for the VA folks, if we keep the riff raff down to a minimum.

Whats near by Quiznos, two subways, CC Pizza, Starbucks, Traget, Chilis, Clydes, Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Panera Bread, etc.

The large parking lot on King St. aka Leesburg Pike aka Route 7 is the Target Parking lot...if you pass that slightly then look at the three big buildings, there is a parking lot that is hidden between those skyscrappers and the condos shown in the other pic. Thats the G spot! That big long building is sitting on top of target, which is Skyline Sport and Health Club.

Two Sundays from now be there....meet time will be in the afternoon....most likely around 5pm! We may have it earlier since its on a Sunday this time round.

I'm so close and would love to go but 5 is a little late.

 

I know the target you are thinking of, its in Skyline Mall. I remember there being parking there you have to pay for if its the target lot I think. The parking lot you have a picture of looks like its at some of the condos near by.

 

What time is good for you....since it is Sunday I think earlier is better also. We just had our last one at 5....so thats why I suggested it.

Let us know...maybe we can meet a bit earlier.

 

How about 1 or 2ish..

 

If you walked in to the Target and out the back service doors to the elevator...you would be in the building where the picture was taken. That building is basically on top of Target. DO NOT PARK AT TARGET! You must pass that light at Targette' (LOL) then make a left at the light. (If on Kings Street aka Route 7 aka Leesburg Pike aka Main Street). The Olive Garden will be on your right, caddy corner, just before you turn left. If you pass Olive Garden, you have went too far....bust a U!

Look for the ramp going up! There are two ramps that go down!

FYI: You only have to pay during the week to keep workers from parking there all day....show them a reciept and its free.

 

I need time to make it back from Church...McClean Bible in Tysons. If any of the folks want to meet me on Route 7 at one of the dealerships and follow, thats cool too.

Yeah Evo and I discussed that probability however they are catered to their perspective regions.....Die Hard Fans will make both...NOVA folks might end up in the VA one on Sunday...MD folks most def will be out on Sat.

If I dont go camping this weekend near the Skyline Drive area...I will do both. If not, I will be hosting the Sunday meet at the minimum.
