hey guys.. saw a few post about the games on other threads, so i was looking to see who goes or is interested in going to some away games

I would say home games as well, but its hard enough trying to find seats there, and I've only got a few people doing the lottery for me so I can use my old VT ID.. ill be lucky enough to get at least one ticket for those.. if you are already goin to the games (season pass or watever), could still meet up and have some drinks downtown

anyways, thought it might be cool if there's any hardcore vt fans that wanna cruise to one or both of these games. only thing is, we'd have to buy as a bunch from ebay or something unless someone has hookups.. could cruise on our own or carpool to UVa, and definitely pool to GA if we decide to go

(oh and please keep the vick comments away... marcus no longer has any respect IMO, and michael is still an awesome player just chit happens IMO)

 

i have a set of home game season tickets waiting for me thru my gf. my roommates are hokie alumni so we'll be watching games here on the 67in hi def tv, playing poker, and grilling and drinking.

as for traveling to those games...LSU, maybe (and even then unlikely), but nothing else. The UVA game is always during Thanksgiving weekend and not once have I felt like sacrificing my stuffing to watch the Hokies play that worthless tea.

I'm in Fairfax btw. I usually leave down to Tech Thurs nights, sometimes sleeping at JMU and continuing my trek Friday mornings if you have that leisure for carpooling.

 

actually, uva one is on the 17th this time, so the weekend before thanksgiving.. yeah, it sucked before when it was 2 days after thanksgiving

let me know if you happen to know anyone that wants to sell their student season tickets for cheap

 

i checked out ebay, and most vt away games look to be around 100/person.. kinda sucks, but could still be fun

 

Well ANYONE going to home games please let me know. My best friend is a Hokie alumni and has 3 season tickets every year. Of course the tickets are used every game by him, me and another person, but we will be at every game this season. Maybe we will see some fellow Hokie z'ers.

 

I'm counting on my daughter to get tickets for us for a few games this year. Should be a great season!

ahah, yeah... i just finished this may, so i dont feel THAT old just yet... but itll be cool seein some Z/G's flooding the parking lots

 

I don't think there are any still around. Me and the only other guy I knew both graduated in may, vtb11 graduated, ziablo was gone last year. There was still a random red and blue one around when I left but never met them.

I may make it to some games, don't know yet because it depends on the work schedule. I will definitely let you know though.

i remember seein a few Zs down there, but i didnt really consider the car until i graduated and saw money in my bank lol

if u ever saw a light green mercedes 300E, that was mine... and i had the only one of the color there heh

im hopin to make the ACC games near the end of the season like BC, FSU, and Miami.. gonna be tough getting a ticket, or pricey but i missed too many while i was there

wish i could go to either... im signed up to go to functiontuned meet, but my work just threw me onto a travel job to california for aug 27-31.. then i fly out to florida on sept 1st for vacation... so not sure if i have time or if ill even be awake after so much jet lag lol

 

clearwater/tampa area.. parents live down there so me and my brother try to visit 2-3 times a year

 

went to keywest in sept one year, wasnt all that impressed.. nice boardwalk with a lot of shops, but it all seems the same to me.. it was outside of the main summer events, so the beaches werent really clean either.. maybe next time ill go during college spring break
