I tend to agree. I could care less how much I'm putting to the wheels on any dyno. The fact that I gained close to 10 whp btw stock and after dynos was all I cared about. It could have been 210 to 220 before and after.

Thanks Karl! Thanks for sticking around! Drop Top FTW! Always much more fun to dyno.
Wow I love how you totally disregard you own advice about not posting incorrect information on the internet. You're like the call out king when it come to that. Regardless your posts continue to be dissappointing.
The Shootout mode ONLY locks the Ramp Rate and External Correction factor out.
The External Correction factor is the mutiplier that the final number is corrected with (many seem to know it as the MRC/Julian correction - for understanding purposes only).
The Ramp Rate is how fast the motor is allowed to accelerate through the RPM band. If the Ramp Rate is too high or two low then this could creat e issues. For an NA car if the Ramp Rate is too high (allows the motor to accelerate to fast) then there may not be enough load on the motor. If this happens the motor may not drawy enough vaccuum. Not enough vaccumm = not full power. On a turbo car this could creat a situation where the car is OVER loaded and causes the turbo to overboost, overshoot or in general not load up like normal and however unlikely it possibly could overstate the numbers.
With dutch's dynos we saw no more then a 1.03 Ambient Air Temp Correction Multiplier "ATCM". That means the dyno was adding on 3% to the final number. We confirmed this by doing multiple runs in both standard mode, shootout mode and "ATCM" OFF mode. All numbers where consistant. The ATCM will go to ~.98 when it starts getting cooler outside.

Looking good Karl!
Interested to see how you do at the track. Cant wait to meet up with everyone again. Also looking forward to the after party, going to enjoy watching you fools get drunk. I might just sit back and drink H2O

Now I'll be about 100 lbs lighter (no cats, spare, tools, or mats) and have about 10 more to the wheels. Temp should be about the same as last time.

That all sounds great-at the end of the day that dyno surprisingly started reading high after it left GA and went to your shop. Stock Z's dont do 210-220whp now they are near 240whp-DJ simulated #. The funniest dyno Ive seen posted from your shop came from an NA car-Corey's G, no offense to him but when he is doing 280whp with 2 bolt-ons it makes you look silly. Your obviously gonna post really technical $hit to defend yourself, while that may sound fine, the numbers at the end of the day are wack (although not so much in Karls case). The high numbers are gonna start taking away credibility. Your shop do with it as you wish, Im just stating my opnion on a forum, this is an online forum right? Maybe if I was a FT nuthugger you wouldnt take it so personal. Id like to read your 2 page explanation on why Corey's G dyno'd so high. You do know the new shootout mode and old (like yours) have different parameters right?
