I've been rolling up to this meet for the past couple weeks. Works for me because it is at night and the temperature is cooler (many of you know that I melt in direct sunlight).

Normally a handful of Z's and maybe another G show up. Just giving you guys the heads up in case any of you want to roll up.

Unless a bunch are coming, I'm probably not down for meeting up first and rolling in together.

There is normally a bunch of us that go up to CFA on a regular basis. Seems this summer has seen us working more than the past few years. Rest assured alot of us do come out though!

 

I'll try and make it. I rarly come out though because Friday is my "shoping" night and I need to do some shopping for my camping trip on Sat. Maybe I will drop my wife off at walmart!

I finally took mine up there last week, I got there late only stayed for bout 10 mins.

 

Hey all I will be there a bit early..May wifes work "Jill's House" is doing a classic car show / charity event there starting at 11am..doubt if I am there until 7pm, however there will be some good ole american muscle out there...One guy is reported to have a shutte on the back of his ride!! I will be there with the 77 Buick Electra 225 under 60K miles, all original except for my Walmart hub caps..lol...Pimping my Ride....lol.




So I will be there..just for how long....who knows!

I only drive it about 3-4 times a year. I wont add anything to it, because we all know, once you start...there is no end.

Its really quiet and gets 20mph on the highway with the small carb set to starve engine..lol.

The AC works, Heat, Power windows and steering...ohh yeah..I may sell it for 5K because I cant afford to let it sit in the garage and break on me all the time.. If you dont drive them....they break,leak, whatever. It breaks my heart that I cant drive it but so often to maintain those antique plates. But if I put regular ones on there, there is the hassel of all that jazz. Now I have no emession, registration updates, plates updates or anything! I dont start it up enough to take care of it like I used too...plus my j78 CJ5 eep takes all the funds my wife doesnt take....Poor G is a redhead step-child...lol.

Thanks for the compliments...I love the car. I have TRIED to sell it like 4 times..I get buyers but then back out..because I love it so much ..lol.

100% original other than some paint touch ups....even the top is 30 years old!!!!

Blue book is 9.2K for show room quality 7K modest. 2.5 for a rust bucket.

There is a Clyde's in Ashburn? Thought the closest one around the Ashburn area was Reston? Gotta search that one out.

Did you, or anyone, happen to see an early 70's 240Z that friday? I heard there were 2 of them there. One being an early 280Z the other being the early 70's (I think '72) 240Z.

Anyone happen to know the owner of the 240? Or snag any contact info from him?
