hi all, soon to be a z owner. Found a 04' Touring Z that caught my eye and hoping to get a good deal. already test drove and all i gotta say is wow.....lol.

Anyways just seein all who lives in virginia still. I live all the way out in Front Royal but i work down in chantilly.

Anyone know any good paint shops? Im lookin at gettin a body kit and exhaust. tryin not to spend too much off the bat. or is anyone selling a exhaust system for the 04-05 z? so i can keep u in mind if its a good deal.

I have alot of family on my dads side in hawaii, but Im pacific Islander though, reason i chose the name and couldnt really think of any other name.

hey Nowell is Redline a performance shop? I believe ive heard of them. Where they ever at HIN last year? I think someone with a STI came to the 28 car meet with cards to a shop called Redline as well.

The booth I will be in is Redline Designs, they do alot of the graphics for some of the show cars in this area. I do know there is another Redline (Performance I think) shop, but as far as I know, don't do anything with the VQ.

ya im gonna have to stop by when i get my Z. There was some rear body damage to the plastic bumper under the reverse light but the dealer is fixing it. I dont know how well there fix is but ill find out tomm. The first mod buy im lookin at is a body kit and a exhaust system. Not really lookin for hi performance yet, more or less gettin what i can from bolt ons for now, till i have the money to load up on maybe turbo or all out N/A.

Theres alot of exhaust systems out there and really dont want to fork over that kinda money. I would say I like the (JIC Magic Spartan DE Type 1), and the (GReddy Ti-C Titanium Racing Exhaust). The single angle exhaust idk some reason it catchs my eye all the time. Most i want to spend on the exhaust is no more than 600 so those 2 from what ive seen online kinda sit in my price range.

do you guys carry any of those exhaust systems? i saw the site and it says you have those brand products.

either way ill find out when i stop by....probably this week comin up after work ill roll on by.

 

Yea just give a call. I like the JIC. I ran the HKS Ti single awhile ago, and LOVED it. I know a few people in this area that ran the JIC and also speak highly of it. Best thing is do your research first before you sink money into mods. Get a plan and stick to it. Too many of use have replaced parts when we upgraded our power goals because we didn't look ahead. Altho, this area is pretty good for getting parts, the Mid-A does tend to pass stuff around.
