Anyone Flipped Tires on a Wheel
Just wondering if anyone in the DC area has taken their wheels to the shop, to have them flip the tires on each wheel (i.e. inside becomes outside) to even out camber wear etc....?
If so, which shop and how much did they charge? I went to a couple shops today, and they charged an arm and a leg!!

Just got a price for you guys with 18's or 19's. To dismount and remount the wheels its $20 per wheel. Just tell them I sent you to get that pricing.

Not sure but it doesn't involve anything more to do that, so I dont see why it would be any different.

Awesome! I will give them a call. Heck, the wheels are not even mounted on a car -- bringing them in the back of a truck

Please don't do this if you have directional tires

Why not? The direction stays the same when you dismount and remount from side to side.

it helps a lot, i did it and it took away the roar from the cupping which was starting. $20 is really good for 18's and 19's!
