I have gotten pulled over 2x. I have a twin turbo with a aam 3" true dual so anytime im over 2000 rpms its loud and you can hear it from a mile away. I got pulled over once for speeding and the friggen fairfax cop at the end was like "by the way here is a another ticket for an illegal exhaust have a good night"... they suck.

 

2-3 times a month for almost 5 months straight. Including no front plate and tint. Got to the point I was spending roughly 300 a month just to FFX.

I got pulled over last week on way way back to work, on 66 exit#60, i was on the HOV with my girl, i saw a cop on the left shoulder standing and i was not able to switch lanes. I have a yellow z ( aniversay edition) so obviusly i got his attention, he pulls me over, says that the reason are my tints, i have 35 all the way around, but he also gave me a ticket for my borla exhoust, its simply rediculous, im just going to pay for the 2 different tickets, im not removing anything

 

Officer Jenkin's in Fairfax is a mother****er. Back in 2003 he had my Integra towed, took my registration, tags and told me I had 9 days to put it back to stock or he would put a hold on my car's registration and I wouldn't be able to re-register my car for 6 months. All because of my exhaust... then he noticed the car was lowered... then told me to pop the hood and asked about the turbo. Of course all he could write me up for was suspension and exhaust. Still... that guy's a big douchebag.

 

That is probably the MOST stock looking and sounding. Did you get under the car and look?

 

Daam and I though I had it bad because Im black...LOL. I got pulled 7 times in the first 6 months for various reasons. I dont get messed with now...maybe its because now that I track my car every few weekends I drive the speedlimit and I have stopped doing donuts in the middle of intersections. lol.

I do get pulled ever single time I drive the 77 Duece and a quarter. Thats a 1977 Buick Electra 225 for the youngsters.

I changed my entire mid section, however I left the factor mufflers on for tow reasons... the cruising drone doesnt exist im my car and the fact that it looks stock, because from the rear it is.

 

Still, the borla sounds really nice, i got it for free so i guess i can pay the ticket!

 

I happen to know a few things about MD law... All I can say to a bunch of you is take a picture with your stock exhaust on and keep it. Go to court because police do not carry decible meters in their cruisers. For the ones who have been pulled over by police in VA. Don't ever and I mean ever open up your hood for a police officer. That my good people is considered a search and it's illegal if they do not have probable cause to search it. if you get tickets pray to the car gods you got tickets and not repair orders. because those suck. remember.. Police have to follow simple laws. One in perticular is called Plain View. If you have to open up another part of the car it's called a search. they need to have PC that there are drugs or guns in that car for them to get you to open trunks and hoods. Remember that people.
