Hey what's going on,

If you are in the immediate area, you should definitely swing by and check us out. Despite what others may say, particularly those that have never been here for service before, we have a top-notch facility and a staff to match. We are also the only performance shop in the area with an in-house engineering / machining department and Nissan Certified ASE Master Technicians on staff. And we try our best to price match service, internet, and retail pricing too!! . We've made a lot of great changes in the past six months and everyone who's been in has left more than satisfied with both our service and pricing!

Can you match the price of header install from another shop? I believe davidv got his headers installed for $200 and have shop invoices for proof.

sorry for postin this davidv

^ I want to know too!

Is it really that hard to install headers? Does it require dropping the engine or lifting it up?

For $200, sure. But most shops charge a lot more than that. I just can't justify when the installation costs more than the item itself.

There's a reason shops charge so much. Unless you have a great selection of tools and a lift at your disposal I wouldn't try doing a header install. In fact, I normally tell people not to bother with headers.

I prefer installing Headers on jack stands and Iv done a lot. If your set up tool wise and have everything at hand (as I do) ...its relaxing to just lay back and kick *** and take names. Also, perfect hight to get EVERYTHING out of the way up top and torque with out the "Raise it up, Bring it down, raise it up, bring it down"....also keeps the ABs in shape. (I intigrate excercise with work)

IMO after doing it for 35 years

I had headers and high-flow catalytic converters installed by this shop because I watched then do another 350Z header install the week before. Besides they are pretty cool with customers in the bays. I wanted to be under the car.
