If you need a new car jack
Just an friendly FYI for the DIY'ers and anyone else who needs a quality jack: Sears currently has Craftsman 2.5 ton car jacks on sale for $18.xx. Comes with a carrying case as well. Nice looking unit. My last cheapo Advanced Auto jack broke, so needed a replacement.
what, i just got a floor jack from them for $45. its a low profile though.

This is the only jack i'll ever buy next. It's the ultimate low profile jack. It doesn't get higher at the end like most wannabe low profile jacks. This is what is used on super low cars. no more running over pieces of wood.

I have the craftsman one and I'm on my 2nd one. 1st one sheared off the pumping part. I used it like normal no abuse at all. I was pissed I went to use it and I had the fluid all over the floor. If the replacement one breaks I'm shelling out some more money on a better one.

Ah well, for ~18.xx, it'll be enough to get me through oil changes until I can change up. Part number- I stowed this thing in the trunk of my beater, which I didn't drive today. I'll check it out when I get home. At Sears, I only saw 2, the low profile one and the one I got. My friend and I used his same one to jack up my gf's Si to put her body kit on, so it should be low enough to use on a Z (of stock height anyway, like me
)Edit- http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...0P?vName=Tools - Here's the link to the jack. Didn't get too rave of reviews, but hey, for less than $20, you can't complain! They have it listed for $19.99, but when I went in they gave me another 10% off for some reason, making it $18.xx.
