You hit the nail right on the head!!! Two guys in my Squad are from VA Beach. One was VA BEACH PD and the other was Norfolk PD. They tell stories all the time about busting sailors and marines. I dunno man, I never got a hard on for busting people.

115 in a 55 I64 then now its changed....main highway coming out of va beach.... Military sticker on the front folks! I went to jail,
ive had the same sort of luck A1C...
on three seperate occassions while in military uniform and with military ID the cops let me off with a less severe punishment or none at all...
one time i was in the car with 3 other buddies driving all the way from Ft. Bragg NC all the way up to Indianapolis, IN (we are all from there). As we were passing Indiana University we got pulled over doing about 85 in a 65. The cop took all of our ID's because he suspected drinking. When we all handed him our military ID's he was like OH, IM SORRY. He still ran us and found out that the guy driving's license had been suspended. Normally that would mean a harsh punishment or a trip down to the station. But all he did was make me drive instead and let us all go without second thoughts at all.
I'd have to say being in the military has really paid off for me in terms of speeding tickets!!

how could a cop tell by just looking at your car anyway ? sure he can smell the fumes, but how would he prove right there and then ?

It's pretty easy to tell if they chose to get down and look under the car, or the smell itself (for instance, my Evo STINKS since I removed the cat, and produces ominous clouds of pollution from the muffler as soon as I hit 1psi).
Tony (yes, extremely ludicrous)

I have a few friends who're running without cats, my friend with the vortech Z, another one with a vette,
but damn with my luck I'll probably get nailed with it
