First Day of snow for the MID-A
This is the first winter i am going to have a Z as a DD.
And my first impressions are not to drive the Z in the snow!
Absolutly no traction, I thought my VDC would take care of things but it was going ape **** making all sorts of strange noises. The problems aren't the main roads but all the side streets and neighborhood streets. Why cant they make an all wheel drive Z!

I know how u feel man. I have a base model with no LSD or traction control so my car is even worse. I ordered a set of Blizzaks today (875 ) but from what the other members I talked to say, they work well. I know firestone's factory warehouse is out of em tho so if you plan on getting them Tire Rack was the only Company I found that had em for less than 1000 bux.

last year
I only had one problem last year in the snow... other than that everything was fine. Couldn't get out of my parking spot but there was also like 2 inches on the ground and no snow plow through yet... What can ya do?

Thankfully I have a 1990 Accord which saves my Z from snow duty. I faced some harsh times in my 03 Base during the winter, and needless to say, now know that a beater car is a vital bit of kit for this car!
The snow is good though: snowboarding this weekend is going to rule!

I assumed there would be some flurries just in the AM - but was wrong. Now I am sitting here at work, looking out the window every 5 mins.
But hey - the snow is not sticking to the street - it's melting away - ain't it?
