And Yes I know it's spelled "Bimmer". Not sure why though

It's a Black 2000 328Ci w/ sports package and tan leather interior. It appears to be in great condition. The only minor setback is it has 103k. Some of you can chime in, but doesn't the front end look modified? maybe cleared out markers and the light housing seems blacked out. I think it looks good, but I'm pretty sure that's not stock.

Anyways what do you guys think? I know Dave (FT) knows quite a bit about bmw engines that's why I'm not too worried about the 103K (no f'n way would I take it to a dealership to get it serviced or checked out)

Here's a pic of a stock front end 2000 328Ci. I think they also blacked out the chrome on the one I'm interested in.

Car looks good. Ive always heard BMW maintenance is expensive, but have no first hand experience.

I'm pretty sure Dave will be a better bargain when it comes to maint. Although this one is staying stock for now, so I don't need him to tune it or anything

But yeah I've heard the same thing about bmws and maintenance.

Nice ride but for the price I would buy a newer car w/ Less miles. I try to keep my DD practical to a point!

looks nice Karl. I actually looked at them for awhile too...I like the look of the "modded" front end better than the stock one you posted

Throw some tint on it, nothing big for a DD, a S/C and small shot of N20 and your good to go, never late to work...

Yeah same here ... but I guarantee you Carmax has no clue that it's modified

Maybe I can get them knock the price down because its not "stock". I doubt it though.

uh yeah I'll probably stop at the tint part.

Can't have my DD being faster then my Z. It's already about 300 lbs lighter in the weight dep.

If I was going to do that I would just stick with what I have now (2000 Escort ZX2). I'm just tired of the huge downgrade when I go from my Z to my DD.
