Default Maryland dealers

I know there have been many posts about which dealers to avoid(Norris) and what shops are good for aftermarket accessories but I am plagued with the Bullsh!t 07 clutch issue and have to take it to a dealer for a warranty repair. Any one had any good experiences with any nissan dealers around maryland, have any connections or have any recommendations? The most important factors to me are that they do good work and dont cut corners, have good customer service and are'nt afraid of a car with light mods. Thanks guys!

They might say your Fujita intakes are the cause of the issue with the clutch.

you could try Antwerpen in Clarksville. They used to host meets and things for us and are supposed to be "mod friendly". Don't know if they still are but im sure others will chime in if that has changed...

I forgot about Frederick Nissan, they sell 240s with SR20DET swaps right?
And I will give Antwerpen a call too to feel them out a little.

+1.

Older models(including my 03) have axle clicking issues. The dealership suggested that it it could be my aftermarket rims that caused that....

Try Frederick Nissan they use to be big into the tuning world but have stepped away lately but still have that mindset (I hope).

I guess that dumb statement from the dealer was before the recall for that problem

Then I understand what you mean, but I am not a gullible young kid, I know my **** and any dealer that feeds me that BS will have a hell of a battle on their hands that they won't win.

By the way Frederick Nissan has a crook of a service writer over there, I think his name is Andy. He tried to feed me a BS line that I may need a new clutch and that the life expectancies on the clutches for 350zs are around 15k miles. Who the Fawk would by a car with a 15k life expectancy on a clutch!!!! Unless your a noob who has never driven a manual before you can easily see 75k miles or more depending on how hard you are on it. And NNA claims to have never heard of the issue although many have complained to them and started paper trails on it. Sorry for the rant it just sucks to see nissan not standing behind their products. Hopefully I will have some luck with Antwerpen out in Clarksville

The Sheehy Nissan in Annapolis is pretty good. They also have a place in Glen Burnie. The annapolis one is a really small dealership (compared to the one in glen burnie) its where i got my car from. They are a nice dealer, and ive never had a problem when i take my car there (besides the crappy "VIP" car washes that result in countless swirl marks but thats understandable). You could give them a call. It is pretty far away from you though.

Took mine to Len Stoler Nissan, screwed my clutch up real bad. I limped in to Altered Atmosphere. They get it straight and then some. I don't mess with the dealers for after market trans and engine work anymore.

I knew my dealer was going to be a ***** about the clutch issue. Had the same exact problems with my 2006 and I just replaced the clutch myself after 17k miles after it totally burnt out due to improper engagement and clutch sticking.
Do yourself a favor and have your clutch dampener removed and flush out your clutch fluid with Motul or other high temp fluids.

I just put some more clutch fluid in the reservoir and pumped it up so that at least got my pedal high enuff to get it in and out of gear. But for a brand new car to be leaking fluid to the point where its bone dry they cant deny me the warranty on that. They will probably give me a hard time but they are gonna fix it. After they do fix it and hopefully put the redesigned slave cylinder in, I will switch to Motul and Moe at SRT already told me he would take care of the dampener delete for me. So im crossing my fingers to get all new clutch, flywheel, slave etc just like VitViper but as long as they get me back to stock I will be content.

Uh oh. That's where I got mine last March. Where can I read the horror stories?

Of course I don't take it there for service so I'm good there at least.
