Before I begin, I must give credit where it's due: Donations courtesy of bb1413.
So I received his "holy headlights"
in sub-par shape... what am I going to do with this sucker? ...Butcher it! That's right, tare everything apart and do something crazy + fix a few things up.
bsurdam suggested I turn it into a fishbowl and roll up to a meet and change my plate to Nemo, but I didn't want you all to copy my ingenius idea so I'll skip out on that for now.
We start by dismantling process:

Look at all that condensation!!!

I have no idea what I'm doing guys... really I don't:

Note: If you leave it in there too long, you WILL melt them. I knew when to take them out from the smell

Before:

After: Custom Gloss-Black

Close-up of my "professional" paint job in my "paint-booth"

In all seriousness, please don't try this unless you really know what the crap you're doing... you could potentially really F' up your headlights!!!
Now I gotta wait for 5 days for the paint to fully cure otherwise you get the "toxic-neon-haze" underneath your headlights and you'd be totally unFunction:TUNED.
These babies will be good as new and functioning @ 100% once I'm done! Will update in 5 days!

Question to you guys since we're talking headlights. I just replaced the front low beams in my beater (97 Corolla) since it was warm this weekend and just happened to think what would I do if I blew out a Z bulb.
It says to take the car into the dealer to replace the front headlights should they go out but this seems pretty excessive just for a bulb change. They don't list any instructions as to how to disassemble the fronts to access the bulbs.
Do I actually have to have the dealer replace them or can I do it myself?
I figured I'd ask before anything actually happens.
thks in advance!

also, I would unhook the battery so that you don't get zapped by 20000 volts from the transformer. (i'm paranoid)
Looks great man keep up the good work! I like what you did with the amber markers.
Eric the Ricer I see drugs in the bottom of the oven !
Oh and those arent drugs in the oven.... more like the residue from the first attempt!

I live in a condo with no covered parking and don't own or know anyone with jackstands to take off the front wheels. There's gotta be a simpler way to change a bulb.Guess I need to make some friends at the next Z meets in MD.
