One common misconception is that they are only good for drag racing which is entirely not true. They really help get the power to the ground in the twisties too. I’m sure if you’ve driven your car fairly hard you have had the opportunity to blast off one tire in a turn. Granted our factory diffs suck in the scope of things, they are still better than not having one at all. = LSD smiley

Is that what you tell yourself to help you sleep at night? We arent race car drivers, I love VDC, I keep it on 90% of the time it limits me to "street" driving, and when done smoothly VDC is not intrusive and very fast. LSD > peg leg anyday

na not at all, again I have it on my 08 Altima
granted that its not a Z it's still punchin 270hp and 258 tq.
I do notice the difference with the LSD on it but I am just
used to not having it. You are also running boost and I do
understand the physics of VDC/LSD, in your case it's helping
put as much of that raw power possible to the pavement........turbo

I have been out many a times on late night runs with Cory lol and it's a blast.
I push my car HARD and I do just peachy w/o it, as I stated to Alberto I would see more of a need for it on a boosted ride even a heavily modded N/A
Z.

The limited slip makes a nice difference in comparison to a car that doesn't have it. This Z is the first car I have had a LSD in; I had an '03 Base, and the difference is quite evident. Around corners it sort of feels like you are getting some extra "push" in the right direction. I would say it feels as if you are getting pulled, but that would be incorrect seeing as how we are RWD.

My gf's Civic Si has the LSD, and you can feel it on that car much more than on the Z. On the corners it feels like something is guiding you/ pulling around the corner.
