Unhappy Somethings wrong?..

Hey guys..so i got beat by my buddies stock 07 base(by a car length).Is that about right,do i need a tune or something,is there something wrong with my car???Im really confused and really thinking about a new car..what should i do?

That HR is vicious man. It doesnt even have a motor it runs on pure dreams. Which is why no turbo kits are out (How do you turbo charge a dream?). So I really dont think there was anything wrong with your car, a tune could help.

Also were you granny shifting and not double clutching like you should?

lol..maybe those heavy tsw's on my car made a differnce,but i really thought i could at least eat a stock one.

A build and boost will take care of that situation!

a temporary fix may be a 3.7, 3.9, or even a 4.1 final drive swap (ring and pinion)

We went from a 15mph roll,we were even till top of third and he got that car on me when i shifted to fourth.

i think im going to go ahead with the lower half of the plenum spacer and headers,then try again.

His 3rd can take him to around 103ish so you shifted and he stayed in gear, allowing him to pull. When this happened you got saddened by the HR (aka the dream) causing you to lose focus and give up. Perhaps if you woulda stayed on him the gap would have closed.

In either case a car length isnt much at all. But remember..It doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile...winning is winning.

May I suggest Koni Adjustables. They're gonna save you about 2 lbs, AND give you better traction through the holeshot

I've got the specs right here on this 1.44MB floppy
