Default Paint chipping...help

I had my car washed (machine washed at the flagship) and when I went to go wax it then I notice some chipping of the first layer of the paint on quite a few areas. Not sure if the machine arms did it, but needless to say i need a touch up job. What do you guys recommend?

<shakes head> if you go to an automatic wash it should at least be touchless/brushless.

But in anycase..our paint isn't the greatest...so all the more reason to handwash your car if you can.

Recommendation for touchup paint..

Yeah, i would normally handwash it, but I wasn't in the mood to get cold hands knowing I was already going to wax it. but, no more man. I guess I'll stick it out. sooooo, with touch up paint, are there any special tools to use or would I just apply carefully? I don't want obvious blotches seen from afar.

that touch up paint is more to stop rust from coming. Even though its the same color, it's not going to match at all!

Had to do a lot of touch-up on my lower front bumper thanks to smacking an old lip on a few things. Just used the brush that comes with the paint [ordered from a dealership] really carefully, then wet-sanded and polished it and the clearcoat.

Still doesn't look that great up close, but 99% of people seeing the car won't notice.

I am so happy that I got a clear bra this time around. Nissan's paint is very poor, and I remember my last Z getting chipped to hell. As for washing, no matter how careful I have been doing it by hand, there are already some swirl marks Not as bad as if I took it to a machine wash, but still enough to realize that its inevitably going to occur.

I wonder if they will work on improving their grade of paint/paint jobs on the cars in the future.

Needless to say, but it makes me more appreciate the premium you pay if you were to buy a higher end brand like BMW or Audi versus a Nissan.
