Thats why my Z is stock and will remain stock aside from suspension, lip kit and rims. I sunk some cash into NA mods on my 03 (spacer, UD Pulleys, Pop Charger, grounding kit ) and my car felt exactly the same. Luckily I got rid of the car before I could do more, because that would have been a waste of money. FI or bust, which won't happen any time soon, if ever. I love the car the way it is.

I remember telling everybody I won't go F/I in the Z, but each day I want to more and more. I'm stuck between going F/I, buying an older C4 and rebuilding it, or buying an S14 and drifting it

This will all be atleast a year from now though. More than likely I'll end up with another C4.

Well this is my thought, I may be wrong.

Bolt ons dont do much for NAs. But when It comes to FI, the bolt ons on the car, will show better gains. Am I right? I have all the bolt-ons on and I am just waiting for supercharger.

supercharger won't make you very fast in the long run unless you want to run high boost numbers, you should just go turbo!!!
Single turbo systems cost about the same as a supercharger (APS Single turbo - $5k and same installation costs) and will give you much higher numbers
Lots of supercharged guys ended up switching after seeing the difference between their cars and turbo cars.

+1 on bolt-on mods being a huge sickhole in your pockets. I think if i didnt waste my money on trading my 06 in and just boost it, I would be happy at this point.

Get a turbo kit custom made for your 07 Gooey! You'll be the first and the fastest!

Just because one member had a certain result does not mean it's the same for everybody. I am so tired of hearing that, there are alot of factors that contribute to your WHP besides bolt on mods. Things like fluids; diff, trans, oil. Also how you drive your car on a daily basis. Wheel and tire sizes... spark plugs, flywheel and clucth...

All I'm saying is the best way to know is to Dyno it, opinions will vary drasticly until you have a piece of paper with you individual results.

I should've gone with APS single instead of the supercharger. This car's too stupid loud right now. And I don't get the cool BOV noise like a turbo!

Unless you're absolutely sure you're getting a supercharger, don't waste your time with headers.

In Japan they get 300+ from N/A built Z's the trend hasn't caught on here quite yet. The HR will probably be the better candidate for that.

yes I know "built" is diffrent that bolt on's but it's still 300whp N/A

There is just a handful of 300+rwhp Z's now and I believe 100% of them have built motors

we need to race. And, you can get a BOV for your procharger kit as well. also, if you don't want to be loud, all you have to do is change your exhaust, it makes a huge difference.

Changing the intake often reduces power.
