Default What ever happened to the Evolution Meets?

I attended 2 with my first Z. They were by far the best and largest Z/G gatherings in the NoVA/DC area.

/Good ol days

Hopefully this meet that i'm putting together will become like that! The first one will be small but once it heats up I plan on it being pretty big on fridays.
The whole cookout, ballons and all that good stuff. I want to turn it into a offical car show/meet on fri. It's a big parking lot and we dont have to worry about police and all.

Jeff and Steve were the coolest guys. I bought my Volks from Steve and he hooked me up on a clutch install...I still see Steve gets on AIM every once in a while I'll talk to him one day.

Its looking to be more local meets than HUGE ones nowadays, no one is really willing to drive the distance. and yes I know I am relatively new to the community and don't have much weight to say anything but just giving my .02 cents. I try and set up meets as much as possible looking to be 20 people coming this sunday to chipotle

I should have known. Even good shops typically shut down after a few years of being open.

Thats my thing, Im not sure where to go after we all met up. There is this road I want to take all you guyz on, it's going towards Clifton and there's a good Ice cream shop over towards that way. I'm thinking maybe our little group could meet up with your group somewhere half way. I dunno I just want everyone to have a good time!

NO way jose! It's all about standing in parking lots wid da booyz, lookin all hard next to ur fly ride just incase that chick walks by. If you were in the bar, she wouldn't be able to see your pimp mobile and ur chances of gettin her number are reduced by 83.7%... PLUS.. you wouldn't be able to pull off that last-minute donut drift around her car.
