Had an experience with a State Trooper last Thursday. He was an awesome guy. He caught me speeding through traffic at 1330 on a work day, in uniform. Pulled me over and asked what the problem was. I told him, he said follow me and "escorted" me to the Wilson Bridge.

Great guy, new found respect for state troopers

Emergency equipment save lives, sports cars don't. You can't justify your statement.

I think I can, since I tend to see emegency equipment speeding by me on almost a weekly basis. I haven't seen a sports car of any make or model do it in a very long time. Emergency equipment in Baltimore (police cars especially) tend to fly out of control an awful lot.... LOL just watch the news, I know a guy in Balto. Co. police who has crashed his cruiser twice in two years. Lights and siren do not mean drive like your on speed.

I have yet to hear of many incidents involving wreckless driving by the police. I dont think they really endanger us.
