Default Well finallygot my 9psi tune.

Well lets just say i was dissapointed..............but dave nows why and the borla exhaust (not really being a true dual)and it so restrictive that it is killing the power being that it does have a small muffler.I only got 350rwhp but i did get 390rwt and this auto pulls like a freight train.
Well now its time to probably get the greddy evo tt exhaust as i dont want it loud.Dave thinks there is at least another 40-50 rwhp with a free flowing exhaust on it........and blowing my old cat convertors probably didnt help the muffler flow any better.
Any suggestions on an exhaust that is not to loud besides the greddy.

You and your damn oil coolers. But dave mentioned it before that the borla is pretty restrictive and even twin oil coolers wouldnt have helped.

I honestly wouldn't be all that disappointed, especially with the really good tq #. Just out of curiosity what were you expecting?

[QUOTE=Any suggestions on an exhaust that is not to loud besides the greddy.[/QUOTE]

have you looked into the APS true dual 3inch?

if you ever wanted to go loud, APS 3.5 inch test pipes. always wanted this set up for myself.

I have seen people run Borla's well into mid 400's without issues. BUT-you are auto, and on a low reading dyno, plus he has a stock motor warranty Im sure it will last a while. Refresh my memory what were the 5.5psi numbers?

APS 3" TD is the loudest FI exhaust.

Keith the Greddy IMO is quiet, go for that.

Default My vote.

I think you should try the Fast Intentions "Dominator". It's fairly new and 3" duals.

I got you Keith! I wanna see how HARD that freight train pulls! Let me know when you put the summer tires back on.

The RPM's are off with the AUTO trans but it gives you an idea of the curve. All runs were done with the car HOT! The car stays running from the beginning of the session till the end. I'll let it idle for 10 to 15 minutes occassionally but most runs are done within 5 minutes of each other. That's the only way I tune, in REAL world conditions and you get a real world number.

As a comparison, I don't get more then 390 RWHP with a Non-Rev Up, 6 SPD Manual, 3" TP's and 3" TD Exhuast.

There is a Vortech car that I reference constantly. Setup is 13PSI, Headers, Plenum Spacer, TP's, Stillen TD Exhaust, and HUGE Function:TUNED I/C Upgrade. I cannot tune it to more then 370HP. BUT he did a cold run on a DJ and made 435HP (first run). Each successive run on the DJ made less as the car got hotter.

+1

with free flowing exhaust (2.5" test pipes, HKS exhaust) I saw about 374 whp and about 400 lb-ft of torque at 9 psi

you just have to build your engine and crank up the boost if you aren't satisfied.
