Latin american people move here without even knowing it. Why not? Since you take advantage of them anyways....
But that does not apply for European people. Every one that has gone to Europe will tell you that life there is 1000 times better. Including my country, Spain. Just ask around.
And come on Eric, what was that comment about learning english as a first language? If we were going to do that, why not choose a language were you don't need to spell your name to anybody that you need to talk to?

I lived in Italy for 2 years, and been Greece, Spain and Portugal, and I disagree that "life is 1000 times better" over there. Yea some things are better, but on the other hand some things are worst.

My point on that was pretty clear. How many people in Spain learn english just for the hell of it? The only reason to learn another language is either for work, or if you plan on living in the place. Thats my opinion, but I'M SURE you knew what I meant.

I'm not saying that isn't true, because it is in most cases. When I was in high school, I worked a job, where I was the only American. I worked with 70+ immigrants, most of which have only been in the country 3-5 years. Funny thing is, they were damn happy to be here, just like most of the immigrants are. Again, I'm not justifying the way they are treated with this statement. I made more money than all of them, even though I was brand new, and they had been working there years and years. When they saw my checks, they were in awe. I told them to bring it up to the supervisor, but they were all scared, and didn't want to lose their jobs over it.

I will appoligize for going off topic too. I'm stuck on a boring base, as a 20 year old E-3, surrounded by nothing but NCO's. There isn't much for me to do around here. Add the fact that I have no car, but I have my xbox and internet, and me leaving my dorm room is a slim chance!
