So i picked up a seibon CF front lip from Kieran@drivendynamics yesterday for 300. I tried to get dave@FT to install it but unfortunately he was busy. Today i got tired of staring at it and decided to install it myself. First there wasn't any where i could drill holes in it to attach it to my car, being that the lip sort of snaps on in place, I just decided to use some 3m double sided tape and mount it. Both sides where it snaps in place near the fender well cracked!
But the bumper seems to be held in place pretty snug with no movement. Am I missing some kind of mounting brackets? Am i safe driving around with it not being bolted down? Is their any way to fix the cracks? Any input would be much appreciated.

lol. thanks for the grammar lesson. Im going to post some pics as soon as the sun comes out, but there really is no need for pics, advice can be given based on what i wrote. Aren't there some Missouri threads you can bash in?
You should have pulled your bumper off, the bumper dismounted is much more plyable. There is much less of a chance of getting stress fractures in the CF when you can mold the bumper into and around the lip.
If its on there tight, which it sounds like it is, I'd just leave it alone, its probally not going anywhere. Unlike polyurethane CF cracks when it is flexed.

Don't feel bad, I made the same mistake with a CF greddy lip on my GS, very slight hairline crack at the end of the lip where it wraps around the fender well. Hardly noticeable, but still pissed me off. Atleast the cracks aren't in a more noticable spot.

You got to host them on a website like photobucket, i actually use my myspace photo album. Then use the insert photo icon when you are writing a new post and when the insert pic window pops up insert the photo url.
as for the stability, i have a seibon front lip as well. not held on by tape or rivets or screws. the fittiment is really good and is not going anywhere. if done right usually the seibon lips are a really snug fit. the crack...sorry cant help you with that.
