yeah i have T-maxxx and RTR4 i cant remember. i havent touched in years

 

Okay so I got it finally. Out of the box this thing is easily pushing 60+ with the current set up. With $10 in mods I can get it up to 75 mph but 60 is good for me. Traxxas Rustler VXL with a brushless motor and 11.1v 4000mAh stupid fast.

 

My little toy, lol. I didn't do it perfectly, but it's my first body, so I can't complain. I've got a nice Z shell sitting in the plastic behind me right now, waiting to get painted. I'm gonna make it look just like MY car. Can't wait!

I've got 2 3000mah nimh batteries. Motor is a 15t.

Has anyone seen a 1/8 scale Z body?

 

Meaning that later on you will probably switch out the engine to a brushless one running a li-po battery set up. With a 3000mAh 7.4v nicad and a normal engine my truck will do 30-35 mph. With the current set up I am running a 11.1v 4000mAh and brushless the truck is pushing over 60 and thats geared down. I can put another pinion gear in that will push it closer to 70 but no thanks I am fine with 60! :-)
